Frequently asked questions about exporting Moroccan fruit and vegetables

Quotes, quality, logistics, payment: answers to the questions buyers ask us most often.

Quotes and orders

How do I get a quote?
Send us the product, size grade, volume, incoterm and destination, through the quote form or on WhatsApp. A sales rep will reply within 24 business hours with a firm price and a departure date.
How long is a quote valid?
Seven calendar days, unless stated otherwise on the quote. The sale is concluded with the written order confirmation, which states product, variety, size grade, volume, incoterm, price and departure date.
Can several products be combined on one shipment?
Yes. Send us the list of products: we will reply with a price grid per incoterm for the whole shipment.
What volumes can you ship?
From a full container — a 40' HC reefer takes 20 to 24 pallets — to refrigerated groupage for smaller volumes. Below about ten pallets, groupage is usually the most economical; see our article reefer or groupage.

Products and quality

Which products do you export, and when?
Our ranges: tomatoes (October to May), citrus (November to April), table grapes (June to October), bell peppers (October to June), melons and watermelons (May to September), onions (April to October) and dried fruit, available all year round. Details for each product are in the catalogue, and any other fruit or vegetable can be the subject of a custom request.
Are your stations certified?
Our partner stations are audited to GlobalG.A.P. and GRASP, and residue (MRL) analyses are carried out every season.
How is quality checked?
With a double check, at sizing and again before loading, and sampling for MRL analysis according to the season plan.
Do you pack under our own brand?
Yes: sizing, optical sorting and packing under your brand or private label, in 5, 10 or 15 kg cartons, punnets or trays. See our services.

Logistics and documents

Which incoterms do you offer?
EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, DAP and DDP (Incoterms® 2020).
What are the transit times?
Departures are weekly from Agadir and Casablanca, in full reefers or groupage, with a four-day transit to Perpignan. West Africa and North America are also among our regular destinations.
Which documents come with each shipment?
A phytosanitary certificate, an MRL analysis report and the container temperature record, linked to the lot number of each pallet — which traces back to the plot.
How is the cold chain guaranteed?
Produce is pre-cooled at the station, then loaded into a reefer container under temperature logging through to unloading.

Payment and claims

What are the payment terms?
They are agreed at the time of order and shown on the invoice. Depending on the destination, a documentary credit is a common payment method. Details are in our general terms of sale.
What should I do if there is a problem on delivery?
Notify the claim in writing within 24 hours of the goods being made available, with dated photographs and the temperature record. After this period, the goods are deemed accepted.
